From the very foundation of the Cinema Library in Macedonia, in 1976 a specialized string library, the only one of its kind in our country, began to work, for various publications (books, periodicals, writings, etc.) in the fields of philmic history, theory and natural history. On the pochetok it was added to the total of 450 books of the string filmmaking literature, it was also added to the list of 26 string filmmaking books, and the processing of press-clippings for Macedonian films was also started.

Denes in the library can give 4,500 books and periodicals, as well as a number of home and national books and periodicals.

In addition, the library has a rich chemotheca, with a collection of 35,500 items (press clipping) in daily and periodical print, as well as online portals. The library’s collection of books is extremely culturally and historically good, and it is accessible not only to students, high school and college students, novelists and critics, but also to the general public who would like to enrich their knowledge of philmatic literature and philomotry.
