He entered the field of filmmaking with a meteoric rise as co-director, with Miodrag-Miki Stamenković, of the feature film “Under the Same Sky”, for which he was also a screenwriter.
In the period from 1968 to 1970, he independently directed his three feature films: “Mountain of Wrath”, “Republic in Flames” and “The Price of the City”, after which he devoted himself entirely to theater.
He also directed short feature films: “No” (1966), “Path” (1967), “What Century Passes Beyond Children” (1975), documentaries: “SicTransit Gloria Mundi / Heraclea” (1974), and television dramas.
