Bilal Salaedin

(Skopje, 1942 – ) He is a theater, film and television actor. Salaedin Bilal studied at the Theater Conservatory in Istanbul, Turkey. In 1964 he became a member of the ensemble of the Turkish drama of the Theater of National Minorities. As an actor he appeared in projects performed on the stages of the Macedonian National Theater, the Theater of Drama as well as on the stage of the Ensemble of Albanian Drama. For his acting skills he was declared the best actor at the “Vojdan Chernodrinski” Theater Festival in Prilep in 1976 and 1990 while in 1992 he was awarded a prize for the best-featured role. Twice he was awarded the prize conferred by the “Ekran” (Screen) magazine – he was declared actor of the year in 1976 and 1977. He also won the following social recognition: “13th of November” award of the City of Skopje in 1977 while in 1984 he won the highest republic recognition the “11th of October” award.
