Jovanovski Meto

(Pancharevo, near Berovo, 1946 – ) He is a film television and theater actor. He graduated from the Academy of Theater in Sophia. Before his admission at the Faculty he appeared on the stage of the People’s Theater in Shtip. In 1971, upon the completion of his studies he became a member of the Theater of Drama where in a short time he acquired a reputation as a proven theater and film actor in Yugoslav scopes. He participated in the stage project of the “Split Summer-84” Festival Ensemble. He appeared in film for the first time in “Macedonian Part of Hell”. Meto Jovanovski is one of the rare actors who achieved the summit of contemporary actors’ expression promoting acting, accelerating it and giving it an artificial natural quality. He was awarded with many prizes and much recognition.
