(Gevgelija, 11.1.1923 – Skopje, 1995) He is a screenplay writer, director and writer. He completed his secondary education in Skopje. Upon the completion of high school, he worked as a journalist in Radio Skopje. After two-year’s work in journalism he moved into “Vardar Film” the newly founded company for film production where after a certain period he was appointed as a managing director. Film became his life determination and professional vocation. He started as an editor of monthly publications and a text writer, then continued as a screenplay writer and director of documentary films. His documentary “Silk Thread” was projected as the first Macedonian film at the International Film Festival in Berlin, in 1953. Besides his features as a manager and organizer of film activities, Kamberski had prolific literary activities. He wrote the outstanding film short stories: “Apparition 1″ and ” Apparition 2″ and the following novels: “Verdict”, “Estimation”, “Holiday” and “Line”. He was awarded numerous significant film and social awards and much recognition.
