Lazarevski Nikola

(Skopje, 29.3.1931 – 04.12.2002) He is a film art director. He completed secondary architectural school in Skopje. He came into cinematography in the year 1953/54 when he was employed in the “Vardar Film” Production Company. He worked as assistant art director, then as an art director and occasionally as organizer, assistant director and director of film. Although retired he occasionally works on film projects. For his film work, he was awarded numerous prizes and much recognition among which are the “Golden Arena” for film setting in the film “Macedonian Bloody Wedding” at the Festival of Yugoslav Feature Film in Pula (1968), “Gold Plaque” for film setting in the film “Happy New Year ’49” at the 3rd Review of the Yugoslav Film Setting, Costumes and Music in Mladenovac (1986) as well the social much recognition “13th of November”, “11th of October”.
