(Prilep, 1957 -) He is a composer and author of film music. He studied English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology in Skopje, yet music is his predominant obsession and profession. In his late teenage years he formed the band “Leb i sol” (Bread and Salt) who became one of the most famous bands on the former Yugoslav music scene and the biggest Macedonian rock band, releasing 13 albums. Even considering his lack of activities in recent years he still has an army of fans. Since then Stefanovski has made very successful solo career. His first solo project, the album “Cowboys and Indians” (1994) showed his interest in different music styles. His second CD “Sarajevo” (1996) was supported by the UNICEF Foundation for the needs of children. He composes film, theater, ballet and television accomplishments. In 1979 he composed film music for the animated film “Circus”.
