Upon the completion of the State Theater School in Skopje, Risto Stefanovski studied acting at the Theater Academy in Belgrade. From 1951 to 1960 he was an actor of the National Theater in Skopje. From the spring 1957 to 1983 he was the head of the Puppet Theater in Skopje that was later transformed into the Theater of Drama. In the meantime he graduated from the Department for organization of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. From 1983 until his retirement in 1988 he was the Managing Director of the Macedonian National Theater in Skopje. He wrote many books and texts in the field of theater. Risto Stefanovski was awarded many prizes and much recognition among which were: the \u201c13th of November\u201d award of the City of Skopje and the \"11th of October\" prize for life accomplishment.","person_prizes":"","person_filmography":"","person_prize_images":null},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
