He finished economic high school. At first he worked as a laboratory technician at the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. In 1959 he was employed by the \u201cVardar Film\u201d Production Company as an assistant. Besides being an editor he also worked as a director and as screenplay writer of a few documentary films. He improved his film knowledge at the Department of Assemblage at the Higher School of the Syndicate Chamber. He debued as first Macedonian editor in the film \u201cMacedonian Bloody Wedding\u201d in 1967.
